To keep struggling
day and night,
Having everyone around
yet not feeling right!
Thankful to have this life,
but why do my chest feels so tight?
Even a handful of breath
feels too much;
No, I have no reason
or anything such!
Having no issue
nor holding a grudge;
No, I have no reason
or anything such!
I wanna let out
plaintive cry,
But why do my eyes
feel so dry?
No I don’t feel good,
nor do the sky;
Yeah, my eyes
feel so dry.
Oh Lord, I wanna forget
everything for a moment;
The good, the bad,
including every comment!
Let me please gather myself
and my every fragment;
Give me a minute,
Dear Lord,
One more minute!

Without Self expression, we’d just be tea kettles on life’s stove, building up pressure upon pressure.

Psalms 51:12 “Restore unto me the joy of THY salvation; and uphold me with THY free SPIRIT!”
Whom The SPIRIT sets Free!
Without Self expression, we’d just be
tea kettles on life’s stove, building up pressure upon pressure.
But with these written relief valves, these scripted releases, so HE keeps us going! Our AUTHOR and KING!
Use us then, LORD, to help others exhale; to breathe in such peace which YOUR SPIRIT sets free!
As HIServant purposed to set captives free indeed,

The pressures of this life often become challenges which we question being able to overcome.
We are HIS creative children, (yes, every one of us 🙂 and through such outlets we can release the weights of the world.
So! Through daily conversations with HIM, and through the daily reading of HIS WORD which gives us the peace which passes all understanding…
…then the daily Joy of our Salvation is found when these chains of life are removed!
Therefore! As steam escaping through our tea kettles’ cap mirrors the relief gained from our thoughts being lifted…
…then we are set free to help others gain freedom as well!

Very well said. Sometimes hard struggle leaves leaves one too exhausted and fatigued. Recourse to ‘one minute’ offers much needed relief. Carry on! 🙂
